Family of Sergey Iliushyk

Sergey Iliushyk (born in Kovel, Volyn district) was mobilized to start his serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On April 22, 2015, he died during the military training course in the Rivne training area.

Nadia is Sergey’s younger daughter who is 11 years of age. She goes to school (the 6th form) and likes drawing and making manicures. She has been attending dancing classes for 6 years already. Nadia’s mother says that her daughter likes cooking as well and she is really good at it. Her favorite dish is the shortcakes she prepared for our volunteers.

Nadia follows the example of her elder brother Taras. He is 20 years old and in his second year of studying at the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”.

Local volunteers presented a PC tablet that was Nadia’s dream for a long period of time. Most part of the price was covered by “Orphan Children of Maidan & ATO”. We are pleased that our organization was able to make a major contribution to that purchase and help girl´s dream come true.
