Family of Mykola Korolko

Mykola Korolko was born in the village called Toboly, Volyn district. He participated in the Revolution of Dignity and in the summer of 2014 voluntarily joined the 24th Territorial Defense Battalion of Ukraine called “Aidar” (a volunteer military detachment of Ukraine´s Ministry of Defense).

Mykola was a reconnoiter and was very proud of his profession. On August 21, 2014, he got to his sniping position to protect from the attack but was killed by a tank shell of aggressors. That was one of the biggest losses of the battalion.

After his death, Mykola left behind his wife and two daughters. Local volunteers visited Mykola´s family to provide them with financial help and gifts for the girls.
