Family of Roman Korets

Roman Korets was originally from Lyubyaz village, located in Volyn region, in 15 km from the border with Belarus.

He faithfully fulfilled his civic and military duty. Four days before his demobilization, Roman together with his fellow soldiers fell into a trap of trees and was killed. According to the witnesses, the terrorists made a trap with fallen trees on the road, and one of them fell down and killed Roman.

After his tragic death, Roman left behind his two daughters, 8-year-old Maya and 5-year-old Anna.

The girls are very much into singing and dream to get microphones for their performances. It was therefore decided to buy for them a sound system with an amplifier on the remote control. Now the girls can enjoy singing and develop their skills. Last Sunday, during the celebration of Maya’s birthday, the volunteers passed this gift to the girls.
