Family of Oleksandr Melnychuk

Oleksandr Melnychuk, a junior sergeant from Volyn region, died on June 16, 2016, while serving in the area of Nyzhnioteple, Luhansk region. After his tragic death, Oleksandr left behind his three children: Vladyslav, Diana, and Nazar.

The kids dreadfully miss their father. They say that they have a very good mother, and they try to help her with everything. They also have a lot of love for Ukraine and dream that the war ends. They also dream about the prosperity of the country and really wish that people here had a decent standard of living.

Together with the local volunteers of the organization “Metsenaty dlya soldata” we met with this family to make some of their dreams come true. Vlad and Diana got new pairs of sneakers that they chose, and Nazar got the bike of his dream. The family is sincerely grateful for all the help and support!
