Family of Ihor Slyvka
Ihor Slyvka was a volunteer soldier with the nickname “Quiet”. He was defending his motherland and was killed near Pavlopil, Donetsk region. On December 12, 2014, he and his fellow soldiers discovered and liquidated a sniper team and hijacked the invading sabotage and reconnaissance group that arranged an ambush.
Unfortunately, the car on which Ihor was moving, exploded on a land mine installed by terrorists.
After his tragic death, Ihor left behind his wife Tetiana, and his twin sons Volodymyr and Vadym. They live in Horohiv, Volyn region. It’s nice to know that Ihor’s fellow soldiers remember him and sometimes visit his family. They gave a trip to Turkey as a present for Volodymyr and Vadym for their 18th birthday.
Local volunteers met with the boys to pass financial assistance. They are sincerely grateful to Orphan Children of Maidan & ATO for their support!
