
Family of Dmytro Labutkin
A journalist and a captain-lieutenant Dmytro Labutkin was born in Bilokrynytsya village (Ternopil region) and served in Sevastopol.
In the spring of 2014, after the occupation of Crimea by Russian troops, he moved to Odesa. On January 21 he arrived in Kramatorsk and went to the firing line as a military journalist. On February 16, 2015, Dmytro went missing in the area of Debaltsevo. On March 20, 2015, his body was found in one of the mortuaries in Dnipro.
After his tragic death, Dmytro left behind his beloved wife and a 6-year-old daughter Kira who live in Odesa. The girl loves drawing, riding a bike, and taking dancing classes. Kira likes the “Sleeping beauty” cartoon and dreams of the Aurora doll with a pink dress. The family is sincerely grateful for the support!
