Family of Dmitry Goncharuk

Ira Goncharuk- Kalyuzhna is the daughter of the master sergeant of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Dmitry Goncharuk, who was killed in a land mine blast in March 2015. He was only 37 years old.

Recently, Ira celebrated her 16th birthday. She studies at Volyn Regional Lyceum named after Heaven’s Hundred Heroes with intensive military and physical training.

Therefore, a local volunteer from the charity project “Children of the Heavenly Legion” together with ATO soldiers visited Ira during a lecture at Lyceum in order to honor the memory and brave deed of her father and gave her a dream gift – a tablet.

A major part of this gift was funded by Orphan Children of Maidan & ATO.
