Family of Bohdan Kurmanskyy

A 43-year-old sergeant Bohdan Kurmanskyy from Ternopil region died in a car crash during the movement of the column of military equipment near the Oleksiivka village (Poltava region).

Bohdan was driving a military car “Ural” towards Kyiv and ran against the tractor which was standing on the sidelines. He was severely injured and died on the spot.

Two young children of the hero, 16-year-old Maryan and 13-year-old Liliya, now live in Berezhany. We met with this family to support them.

Maryan is keen on football and basketball. He dreams of becoming a footballer and meeting with Andriy Yarmolenko – a famous Ukrainian football player. He also dreams to have a bike. Liliya is passionate about dancing and is a part of a local dancing group. She wants to have new jeans and a jumpsuit and dreams of visiting Croatia.
